An ongoing personal project illustrating Margery Allingham's novel 'Mystery Mile', set on an island on the Suffolk coast.

These paintings illustrate the final two chapters of the book, where the main character, Albert Campion, rows along a secret causeway in the mist, where he is then trapped in an abandoned shack with a criminal mastermind.

In September 2016, two of these illustrations were exhibited as part of the Bedroom Artists Collective at Hive Dalston, and a third will be exhibited in February 2017 at Candid Arts Trust in the 'Outsider Art Exhibition'.
