ABOUT JESSAMY

London and Dorset based illustrator working in watercolour and gouache, and linocut-printmaking. Jessamy is interested in connecting drawing with poetry and literature, as well as using illustration and hand-drawn maps to document an experience of a landscape. 

 

Jessamy is the illustrator for 'Explorers', a children's book published  in 2019 by DK - a book packed with colourful gouache and watercolour landscapes, maps, portraits, and cross-sections. Have a look at the book here.

BACKGROUND

MA Illustration Graduate from Kingston University, shortlisted for the 2016 V&A Student Illustrator of the Year award, with my project 'A Midnight Clear'. More information on the competition shortlist can be viewed on the V&A website, here.
