THE MOON AND SIXPENCE
A self-initiated personal project designing a book jacket illustration for W. S. Maugham's novel 'The Moon and Sixpence'.
The book tells the story of Paul Gauguin through the fictional painter Charles
Strickland. After leaving his London home for Paris, Strickland fulfils his dreams as an artist, eventually moving to Tahiti where he stayed for the remainder of his life.
